It\u2019s been theorized that at the end of the four minutes, each person should <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/science\/hottopics\/love\/flirting.shtml\">feel closer and more connected<\/a> to the other, no matter their relationship to each other prior to the experiment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by the article, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Xm-T3HCa618\">YouTube\u2019s SoulPancake<\/a> gathered six couples to test out the theory. Among the couples they recruited was a duo on their fourth date and a married couple who\u2019d been together for 55 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How To Connect With Anyone\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xm-T3HCa618?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Each couple was put into a room on their own, and for four minutes, were tasked with sitting in silence while looking into the other person\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of experiment, even the participants seemed surprised by the results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn 55 years of marriage, we\u2019ve never really looked into each other\u2019s eyes like that,\u201d said one woman to her husband at the end of the four minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen I look at you really closely, I realize how much I need you and what you mean to me, because that\u2019s the truth,\u201d her husband later says to her. \u201cI couldn\u2019t imagine being with anybody else.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Are you ready to try it?
